Friendly staff and Dr Cole is gentle, caring, efficient, and compassionate.
Dr. Jesse Cole was raised on a farm in Kansas, where he developed a strong work ethic from a young age. He helped his father in the fields, steering the pickup while his dad spread hay bales for the cattle, and grew up driving and maintaining various trucks and tractors. His mother instilled a sense of self-sufficiency, a passion they continue to share through gardening and preserving home-grown produce. As a teenager, Dr. Cole’s family moved to the Alaskan wilderness, where he was homeschooled while enjoying outdoor activities such as hunting, trapping, and fishing. His parents were both educators—his father taught science, math, and vocational education, while his mother taught English and history. Just before embarking on a two-year mission, Dr. Cole met his wife, Holly. Upon returning, they were married and started a family while he pursued an electrical engineering degree at Brigham Young University. In 1995, they both joined Intel, where Dr. Cole worked in building computer chips. Their time with Intel allowed them to travel extensively, helping to open factories in Arizona, Ireland, Israel, and Massachusetts. As Dr. Cole gained experience at Intel, he became increasingly interested in a career that allowed him to work more directly with his hands and serve others. This led him to pursue dentistry, and in 2006, he graduated with high honors from the University of the Pacific with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery. After a brief period practicing in Idaho, he and Holly purchased a dental practice in Scobey, Montana, where they spent the next 15 years. While living in Scobey, Dr. Cole served on the local school board for 12 years, and Holly occasionally worked as a substitute teacher. They raised three daughters and three sons, most of whom attended school in the Scobey system. Dr. Cole speaks fondly of the community, feeling honored to have worked and served alongside the people of Northeast Montana. Recently, Dr. Cole and his family decided to move closer to relatives in Cache County and Southern Idaho. He is thrilled to be joining Dr. Olson in Providence and looks forward to serving the wonderful people in the area. Holly enjoys reading, writing, and nurturing their family’s unique culture, while Dr. Cole loves spending time outdoors with his family whenever possible.
